Everything in life has a design which gives it a sense of purpose and value. But how can we discover our design and find our purpose in life?
What is truth? According to the Bible, truth is more than a fact of life that can be understood intellectually. Truth is reality and it is only found in the source of all reality. If we are to become people of the truth, we must not merely knowledge about God, but we must seek to know the reality of God. And this calls for experience. But how does the theory of God’s truth become our personal reality?
In Jesus we have an inheritance that surpasses our understanding. The depths of Christ’s love, presence, nature and life are ours to experience. He has freely given us His Spirit and all the qualities that flow from His life: He has given us His love, joy, peace, healing, wisdom and more. But how do we experience the reality of what we have been given? How do we connect with God and know His power and love in a real and tangible way?
On a few occasions in Scripture we find the word predestined. For some people this word is almost entirely overlooked throughout their spiritual lives. For others it is a word that shapes their spirituality and defines the way they view their salvation in God. So what does it mean to be predestined by God? How does predestination affect our spiritual life and our growth in God?
